SAT AI AutoIngest Server for the Avid Unity ISIS network

The industry's first Ingest Server directly attaches to the Avid ISIS media network for fast and efficient moving of MXF media. Ingest video and your metadata directly into the Avid ISIS. Automatically checkin clips and metadata into Avid Interplay or Avid Media Manager based work groups. This powerful media management tool takes recorded media from your FieldPak, P2 card, GFPAK or XDCAM cartridge. Then transfers it to your Avid ISIS system making it available to your editing workstations. Media is transferred to ISIS at rates over 100 MB/s. The SAT AI AutoIngest Server accelerates your collaboration efforts.

The SAT AI AutoIngest transfers media without using an edit station. It automates time-consuming media transfer, enabling the editor to continue uninterrupted.

Manage assets with AutoIngest software

Rename clips, change the computer named clip "C0012" to a more meaningful story name. Rename hundreds of clips at once with Batch Rename. Group related clips into an Avid Sequence for use by the Newsroom Director using Assist or the news editor. Add to, or modify metadata before or after you transfer with this powerful ingest tool. Once transferred, receive a text message or a printed report confirming the media transfer.

Server hardware features

High Performance fault tolerant server: 1U rack mount configuration with AutoIngest preloaded and configured to connect directly to Avid ISIS media network. Features, 3TB of RAID 5 storage, XEON quad core technology, 2GB ECC memory, hot swap power supplies, removable disk drive bays, dual gigabit ethernet, 1394b and USB 2.0 ports. No keyboard or VGA monitor provided.
